4th Grade Coding Practice
Note: For teachers who have previously taught 4th grade PixelBots coding, this course’s content has recently been updated. You can see the new course progression and explore your new first module below.
Module E1 Overview
In this module, students are introduced to functions and learn how to define and call functions to solve challenges in PixelBots. Throughout the module, students will practice decomposing shapes using the Break It Down strategy to code candy-themed challenges with functions. Students will also learn how to organize their code with their main code at the top and all function definitions at the bottom separated with line breaks. By the end of this module, students will have a strong foundational knowledge of how functions work and why they are useful.
